CHAPTER 4 : THREE IS A CROWD

Seeing someone you love happy isn't at all any happier for yourself.

The freshmen camp sucks. And I'm not embarrassed to describe the camp in a word and leave this paragraph for the next line.

Apparently I thought I can just waste my time on the meaningless and endless ice breaker games the camp had organized and not focus myself on the prized procession, Irys. OK, focus focus, opps, there goes my eyes on her again. But often and not, the beautiful sight would evanesce when I row my eyes over to her left. Imagine this, Jessica Alba standing there. You are in love with her. She is so gorgeous just standing there. Then suddenly there's a Orlando Bloom beside her. Kind of making a mess out of Jessica won't you think? Anyway, it kind of did to me.

Day one was a little slow. Everyone was not exactly a New Face candidate but at least everyone is new to one another. Already in a sunken mood, I could not bother peaking up my mood. I was in a world of my own, playing my own game until the game entitled "2-gether". Everyone was to pair up and while I was trying to figure out the rules to it, I became the only one without a partner. Nice…

I saw everyone in pairs, all except me. I felt a little uneasy then again, a little pissed off. But in come the only highlight of the camp, Irys. I'll be your partner. God replied to my prayers. Together, we cleared the obstacles in the game. There was this one time that I have to carry her over a hurdle, seriously, I think I heard the wedding bells. All is worth for the fee I pay for the camp. Thank you my lord.

But things drove onto an ugly turn.
