Chapter 5 : Just my luck God will not take away something from you without return something else in favour. But the saying goes for that God has given you something, and he will expect something in return. While I was finally having some fun, times flies and I have to surrender the temporary happiness. The rest of the day was all about wondering "what could have been" as I see Irys and her boyfriend cuddling while organizing the activities. Why must they be so close to get things done? Can't they just keep away from one another and give me peace to my mind? Seriously, at this point, I wasn't really in the mood to continue my stay for the camp. And an uglier truth is that we are still on the first day on this sucky place. Like Remy Zero will sing for Superman, "somebody save…me…" The same for the previous day goes for the next day. I dragged my feet around, from one activity to another. I pinned a fake smile when someone comes over and say hi. And that's basically a form of repellent for everyone. I was practically left alone. This time, there was no more Irys to accompany. Luck ran out on me. It all ran away until some came back in a form of a quarrel between Irys and her partner. Evil laugh. |
